Abueng Advisory (Pty) Ltd (“Abueng”) is a South African Accounting Firm that supports Founder-Led and Board-Led SMEs with Growth and Financial Governance solutions across different business seasons.
We support SMEs across two complementary areas:
1) Structure & Compliance and
2) Growth & Governance.
We believe these are not competing priorities — sustainable businesses require both.

Kelebogile (Lebo) Ntlha is the Founder & CEO of Abueng Advisory and a Thinking Partner to SME Founders & CEOs. She is a CA(SA) and holds an MBA (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax from the University of Johannesburg.
Drawing on her experience as a Group Financial Director of a JSE-listed company, a former Company Secretary, an entrepreneur and her work with SMEs, Lebo has experienced business from different perspectives - from governance and financial discipline to the realities of building and navigating a business.
Her own entrepreneurial journey reinforced a key conviction: business growth is not linear. SME leaders navigate different business seasons, each with distinct priorities and constraints. With many competing demands, the challenge is often knowing what deserves attention now while keeping a long-term perspective in mind. This insight led her to develop The SME Financial Seasons Framework™.
Business growth is not linear.
Different business seasons create different priorities, constraints and opportunities.
The SME Financial Seasons Framework™ helps business leaders identify what deserves their attention now while maintaining a long-term perspective.

Once priorities are clear, businesses need practical tools to improve performance. We use proven growth and financial governance methodologies to help SMEs turn priorities into action.

Our VISION is to become one of the most trusted Accounting Firms for SMEs in South Africa.
Inspired by Jim Collins’ concept of “the genius of the AND”, we believe that business growth and financial governance are not competing priorities. Sustainable businesses require both.
We support both Founder-Led SMEs and Board-Led SMEs, helping business leaders combine growth ambition with financial discipline through practical solutions that work in the real world.
This dual focus creates a virtuous cycle. Supporting Founder-Led SMEs keeps us practical, agile and focused on the realities of building a business. Supporting Board-Led SMEs strengthens our governance, structure and execution discipline.
Together, these experiences reinforce one another — enabling us to deliver financial governance solutions that are both practical and sustainable.
